Memphis City Schools Foundation, Memphis

Supported the Teacher Effectiveness Initiative in Memphis City Schools—funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation—by creating content for an online presence. ARC:

• Worked closely with Green Egg Media to devise the architecture for two websites devoted to Teacher Effectiveness Initiative (TEI) and its “I Teach I Am” campaign
• Developed content for a print campaign in partnership with Alley Cat Design.
• Interviewed five school principals, as well as other school district officials about the state of their schools and the need, potential, and early impact of the initiative.
• Published dozens of pages of stories for an innovative, documentary-style website.

 

Mantua Greenway, Philadelphia

Edited and developed content for the site devoted to this beautification project and trail through a vibrant West Philadelphia neighborhood. Administered by Mount Vernon Manor CDC.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Philadelphia

Devised the information architecture, wrote 50 pages of new content, and repurposed more than 100 pages of existing content on an accelerated schedule. Worked with more than 15 client departments across the museum and school to secure approvals; oversaw proofreading and quality assurance before launch.

 

Fox Rothschild LLP, Philadelphia

Researched, wrote, and obtained approvals for hundreds of pages of new web content for this fast-growing, Philadelphia-based firm, including some 350 lawyer bios, 42 practice area overviews, and other content areas (see “about us”: diversity, technology, pro bono, etc.).

Center for Translational Medicine, Thomas Jefferson University

Devised the site organization and drafted content for this academic research center, based on interviews with its director and staff. Art directed photography. Obtained all content and design approvals.

 

Jefferson Weight Management Program, Philadelphia

Devised the site organization (within the existing University structure) and collaborated with program staff and outside writers to develop content. Served as liaison with Jefferson IT to oversee site navigation and design. Secured all physician and administrative approvals. Did photo research and quality assurance before launch.

TIMSS Video Resource Guide

Created an online guide for K-12 educators to access the results of a groundbreaking international education study. Devised site organization and created navigation; wrote and edited all copy.
